Literature Text
Lady clad in velvet smooth-
Rose and candle in her hand...
Through the beautiful nightlight,
She wanders into well-known land.
Pale as the wax that her hand grips,
Gorgeous maiden rushed like the wind-
For she saw her beloved one sitting
On his very own marble bed.
Translucent entity breathed her name
As the waltz of the sorrow went on-
Their love again became a shadow game.
Last drops of moonlight fell from Heavens-
Kissing the beauty goodbye, he went
And disappeared into another sleepless night.
Rose and candle in her hand...
Through the beautiful nightlight,
She wanders into well-known land.
Pale as the wax that her hand grips,
Gorgeous maiden rushed like the wind-
For she saw her beloved one sitting
On his very own marble bed.
Translucent entity breathed her name
As the waltz of the sorrow went on-
Their love again became a shadow game.
Last drops of moonlight fell from Heavens-
Kissing the beauty goodbye, he went
And disappeared into another sleepless night.

Lovely little poem for the challenge:
Even though the theme was to make something spooky, I never found ghosts or spirits spooky - rather sad. For ghosts are merely poor beings that are trapped between worlds, never allowed to leave or stay.
Therefore, here is a little sonnet of a maiden and her deceased loved one
Please do let me know what you think
And as always:
Love,
SoLo~

I love how you view ghosts. It's so easy to write them as scary, but maybe they're the ones who are scared.
